Malaysia has about 1.1 million fully vaccinated children.

1.1M children are fully vaccinated.

As of Saturday, 1,111,499 children aged five to eleven had been fully vaccinated under the Covid-19 National Immunization Programme for Children (PICKids), accounting for 31.3 % of all children in the country (May 21).

According to the CovidNow website, 1,671,828 children, or 47.1 percent of the total, have gotten at least one vaccine dose.

A total of 2,909,039 or 93.5 percent of teenagers aged 12 to 17 years are fully vaccinated, while 3,005,679 or 96.6 percent have gotten at least one dose of vaccine.

Meanwhile, 16,078,909 individuals (68.3%) have received a booster dose, 22,972,623 adults (97.6%) have finished two doses, and 23,248,575 adults (98.8%) have received at least one dose of Covid-19 vaccine.

In terms of daily doses, 7,296 first doses, 12,179 second doses, and 1,385 booster doses of Covid-19 vaccine were provided yesterday, bringing the total vaccine dosage administration through the National Covid-19 Immunisation Program (PICK) to 70,784,541.

Three deaths due to Covid-19 were reported yesterday, according to the Ministry of Health’s GitHub page, with two cases in Johor and one in Pahang.
