Guy Oseary, Madonna’s manager, claims that the pop star was recently admitted to the hospital’s intensive care unit owing to a “severe bacterial infection.”
In a social media post, Oseary said,
“On Saturday, June 24th, Madonna developed a severe bacterial infection which lead to a several day stay in the ICU.”
Madonna’s health is getting better, according to Oseary, but she is still getting treatment. He expressed certainty that she would recover fully. All of her obligations, including her impending concert tour, will, however, need to be postponed due to her condition.
Oseary promised the audience that more information, such as the tour’s new start date and its postponement, would be released as soon as it was known. The goal of Madonna’s “Celebration Tour,” which was set to launch on July 15 in Vancouver, Canada, was to mark her 40th year in the music business.
Madonna, who is currently 64 years old, has previously experienced health problems. She had to postpone her Paris trip in 2020 because of a persistent knee problem.
