About 480,000 children have been fully vaccinated.

As of yesterday, 487,728 children aged five to eleven have been fully vaccinated under the Covid-19 National Immunisation Programme for Children (PICKids), accounting for 13.7 percent of the country’s kid population.

According to the CovidNow website, a total of 1,425,865 children in the same age range have gotten at least one dose of the vaccine, accounting for 40.1 percent of the total.

A total of 2,877,332 adolescents aged 12 to 17 have finished the immunisation, accounting for 92.5 percent of the group, while 2,978,531 have received at least one dose, accounting for 95.8%.

In the adult population, 15,985,545 people, or 67.9%, have received the booster shot, 22,961,980 people, or 97.6%, have finished both doses, and 23,238,874 people, or 98.8%, have received at least one dose of the vaccine.

A total of 47,612 vaccine doses were given out yesterday, with 35,398 being second doses, 4,635 booster doses, and 7,579 being first doses, bringing the total number of vaccine doses given out under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme (PICK) to 69,742,922.

Meanwhile, 12 deaths related to Covid-19 were recorded yesterday, according to the Health Ministry’s GitHub page, with Perak having the most cases with five, followed by Johor with three.

Each of the states of Kedah, Melaka, Pahang, and Putrajaya reported one case.
