How to register marriage online?

JPN has launched an online service where people in specific areas can register their marriages online!

 

The National Registration Office (JPN) has been launching its eSERVICES online service platform for some time now. This platform can handle many matters that previously required a visit to the counter, and registering a marriage is one of them.

 

For couples who plan to register their marriage in the near future, you can apply online first. After completing the online application, you can go to JPN at the selected time to take the vows and pay the marriage registration fee.

 

For the time being, online marriage registration is only available in Putrajaya, Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Selangor, Negeri Sembilan, Melaka, Johor Bahru, Pahang Kuantan, Perak Ipoh, Kelantan Kota Bharu, Kuala Terengganu, Perlis Kalyang, Penang George Town, Sabah Kota Kinabalu and Sarawak Kuching.

 

How to register your marriage online

Step 1: Visit https://oskc.jpn.gov.my/.

Step 2: Those who already have a household can choose Log Masuk, those who do not have a household can choose Daftar akaun sekarang.

Step 3: Once you finish registering your account, you can log in and select Perkhidmatan Digital, then click Permohonan Perkahwinan Tanpa Lesen.

Step 4: Read the terms and regulations and click on Setuju.

Step 5: Enter the applicant’s father’s ID number, applicant’s father’s name, spouse’s ID number, spouse’s name, and click Semak.

Step 6: Enter JPN oath place, date of marriage, upload photo, enter religion, occupation, phone number, email.

Step 7: After completing all information, both the applicant and spouse will receive email notification.

Step 8: JPN will send another email to the applicant and spouse after processing the marriage registration application.

Step 9: Applicant and spouse need to click SETUJU within 3 days of receiving the email, if they do not click SETUJU, the application will be cancelled.

Step 10: Applicants can visit https://semakoskc.jpn.gov.my/ to check the application for registration of marriage.

Step 11: Visit a JPN branch at the selected time to take the vows and pay the fee.
