Government eases various control measures, netizens demand government to cancel scanning MSJ !

10/03/2022

With the government’s decision to enter the endemic epidemic transition period from April 1, do you think the government should have to cancel the application of MySejahtera?

According to a message from Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri, our country will enter the endemic epidemic transition period from April 1 and the government will relax the control measures, that is, no longer restrict the number of people in public places and businesses can be open 24 hours.

Since the outbreak, the government has launched MySejahtera, a mobile application that requires people to register when they enter public places, and the main function of MySejahtera is to keep track of people with a history of contact with confirmed cases.

As the epidemic has entered the community and most of the confirmed cases are mild and asymptomatic, it is no longer useful to use MySejahtera to locate close contacts. Do you think the government should continue to ask people to scan MySejahtera as it relaxes its control measures?

Many netizens believe that scanning MySejahtera should be abolished, what do you think?
