Due to Deepavali holidays, there will be heavy traffic on main highways.

Following an increase in the number of vehicles on the road due to the Deepavali holidays and long weekend, traffic flow on key highways began to slow down.

The Kuala Lumpur-Karak Expressway was reportedly experiencing delayed traffic from the east (Kuantan) right before the Gombak Toll Plaza and from Lentang to the Bentong Toll Plaza, according to the Malaysian Highway Authority (LLM).

Westbound traffic from Gombak Rest Area to Gombak Toll Plaza and Middle Ring Road 2 (MRR2) was said to be delayed. Southbound traffic from SungaiBesi Toll Plaza to Bangi, Seremban to Senawang, Senawang to PedasLinggi, and Kempas to PasirGudang was also said to be slow.

From Pasir Gudang to Dato’ Onn, Senai to Kulai, Pedas Linggi to Port Dickson, and after Sungai Besi Toll Plaza headed to the capital city, traffic was likewise flowing slowly in a northerly direction.

The Juru Autocity to Juru Toll Plaza, Bukit Tambun to Jawi, Menora Tunnel to Ipoh Utara, Sungai Buloh Rest and Service Area to Sungai Buloh Hospital, and the area just before Rawang Selatan Toll Plaza all had delayed traffic.

Around midnight, the expected increase in traffic will start.
