The first and second phase of STR has been distributed and the third phase of STR aid will be disbursed in the month of August.
The third phase of STR will be disbursed in August and the fourth phase of STR will be disbursed in November, according to the Mercy Relief (STR) official website.
STR grant is a government grant program that aims to reduce the burden of low-income groups. All families with a monthly income of up to RM5,000 and singles with a monthly income of up to RM2,500 are eligible for the grant.
The 2024 STR grant will be open for application all year round and those who are eligible but have not yet applied can do so by visiting https://bantuantunai.hasil.gov.my/.
In addition, STR recipients who have not filed an appeal can update their basic information (Maklumat Asas) from April 8 to April 28, 2024, according to a message from the Inland Revenue Department (LHDN).
The basic information that can be updated by the beneficiaries include home phone number, cell phone number, postal address, email address, bank account information, spouse’s phone number, and beneficiary information.
