16/01/2023

CIMB has launched a new feature that allows you to freeze your account directly from the CIMB Clicks APP if you find any suspicious transactions in your account.

In recent years, there have been cases of bank deposits being stolen one after another in Malaysia, which has caused a lot of anxiety. In order to prevent theft of bank deposits, CIMB has launched a new feature that allows users to freeze their accounts directly from the CIMB Clicks APP.

If users find unknown transactions or suspicious activities in their CIMB accounts, they can directly open the CIMB Clicks APP and then freeze their accounts. Only then can you contact your bank to find out and report any unexplained transactions on your account.

After manually freezing your account, you will no longer be able to use CIMB Clicks for any transactions, and you must call the CIMB hotline or go to the bank counter to unfreeze your account.

To freeze your bank account, you can open CIMB Clicks APP, then go to Services, then go to Profile Page and select Lock Clicks ID.

In the future, if you find your CIMB account has unknown transactions, you can freeze your account in this way to buy more time for yourself and reduce the loss of your deposit.
