Changi Airport wins back the World’s Best Airport Award

17/03/2023

The title of “World’s Best Airport” has been given to Singapore Changi Airport for the second time in two years.

8Sports.com says that the British consulting firm Skytrax has put out its list of the best airports in the world for 2023. Changi Airport has been named the “World’s Best Airport” for the 12th time. This year, Changi Airport was also named “World’s Best Airport Dining” and “World’s Best Airport Recreational Facilities.”

Skytrax asks travelers from more than 60 countries to rate more than 550 airports worldwide based on how easy it is to check in, get through customs, and shop. Between August of last year and February of this year, a survey was done for this year’s awards.

The CEO of Changi Airport Group, Mr. Lee Seow Hiang, said that airport workers had worked hard over the past two years to deal with the problems caused by the rise in coronary disease. This award is a great boost for everyone who works at an airport.

Qatar’s Doha Hamad International Airport, number one for the past two years, came in second. The third-best airport was Tokyo Haneda International Airport in Japan.
