BYD electric car will be launched in Malaysia in December!

The BYD vehicles to be sold in Malaysia will be the BYD Atto 3 and BYD e6, priced between RM150,000 and RM170,000.
Sime Darby Motors (SDM) has signed a distribution agreement with BYD in September this year, and BYD’s electric vehicles will be sold through SDM’s distribution channel.
SDM will sell BYD ATTO 3 and e6 models.
BYD is an electric vehicle brand from China, BYD was founded in 1995. BYD sold 730,000 family cars in 2021, 593,745 of which are new energy vehicles.
BYD sold 640,000 new energy vehicles in the first half of 2022, up 315 percent year-over-year. BYD also surpassed Tesla to become the global new energy vehicle sales champion. Tesla’s global deliveries in the first half of 2022 were 560,000 units.
