KWSP is not offering another special withdrawal program, so people are urged not to be scammed!

The KWSP has denied offering a special withdrawal program for members who are struggling to make ends meet. The public is urged not to provide personal information to strangers to avoid theft of bank deposits and leakage of personal information.

The Employees Provident Fund Board (KWSP) has not launched a similar withdrawal scheme after launching a special withdrawal scheme (Pengeluaran Khas) in April this year. Coupled with the fact that economic activities in the country are now completely open, it is even more unlikely that the CPF Board will allow members to withdraw from their CPF accounts anymore.

If KWSP were to launch a withdrawal plan, KWSP would definitely release the information directly through its website and official Facebook page, and would not be released by other individuals on their behalf.

In fact, you can withdraw your savings from your CPF second account by buying a house, paying education fees, paying medical bills, etc. These withdrawals are open all year round. These withdrawals are open all year round and eligible individuals can apply for withdrawals from their CPF Second Account to buy a home, pay for medical fees, pay for education, etc. Members can apply directly at KWSP counters or through the i-Akaun website.

With the frequent news of bank deposits being stolen, people should be more cautious and not to provide personal information to strangers indiscriminately.
