As e-wallets become more common in Malaysia, e-wallet platforms have started to incorporate more and more features such as purchasing insurance, paying bills, and buying coupons. However, this also makes the e-wallets slow and affects the user experience.
When users want to use the e-wallet payment in the store, they need to click to open the e-wallet APP, then they need to turn off the pop-up notification in the APP, and then click to scan the QR code or show the QR code function. The original one-step payment function was made to take three or four steps to complete by the e-wallet platform. Especially in the mall when the network line is not good to open the e-wallet payment into a nightmare, so many users prefer to pay in cash.
E-wallet platforms should simplify the payment process and make the payment process more convenient than paying with cash so as to effectively promote users to use e-wallets. Recently, Boost APP has made some improvements, such as long press on the icon of Boost APP will pop up the shortcut key for payment.
Users just need to long press the Boost APP icon on the phone, and then the small windows of Scan and Pay, Scan Me and Send Money will pop up. If you want to scan the QR code of the merchant, you can choose Scan and Pay.To show the QR code to the merchant, you can choose Scan Me and to transfer money, you can choose Send Money.
The payment shortcut introduced by Boost APP is similar to WeChat, which can speed up the process of payment and bring payment back to payment itself. Hopefully other e-wallet platforms can follow this feature as well.
