BKM will be distributed in 4 stages!
According to the official website of BKM, BKM will be distributed in four phases, namely March, June, September, and December. The exact release date has yet to be announced.
The BKM is divided into 3 groups, namely the family group, the elderly single person group, and the single group. Both the family group and the senior singles group will receive the aid 4 times, that is, in March, June, September, and December respectively.
As for single people, you can get the aid twice, that is, in March and September. At present, the Inland Revenue Board has not announced the amount of each aid payment, but it is very likely that it will distribute RM200 in March and RM150 in September, for a total of RM350.
The BKM is open for application from January 1 to January 31, 2022. Families with a monthly income of RM2,500 or less will receive RM1,000 without children, RM1,500 for families with 1 or 2 children, and RM2,000 for families with 3 children or more. Families with a monthly income of RM2,501 to RM5,000 can get RM400 without children, RM600 with 1 to 2 children, and RM800 with 3 children or more.
Single fathers, single mothers, or widows who need to support children can receive additional RM500 assistance. As for the senior family group, you can get an additional RM300.
Widowed or single seniors (aged 60 and above) earning up to RM5,000 can receive RM600 assistance. Singles aged 21 and above with a monthly income up to RM2,500 can receive RM350 assistance.
