Families of BKM beneficiaries who die in 2022 will receive a RM1,000 pension.
According to the BKM website, all families of BKM recipients who are unfortunate enough to pass away in 2022 will be able to claim a death benefit of RM1,000 (Skim Khairat Kematian) or SKK for short from the government.
BKM beneficiaries must have passed away between January 1 and December 31, 2022, and their families can go to the National Savings Bank (BSN) to receive their death benefits.
The family must bring the original or a copy of the death certificate issued by the National Registration Office (JPJ), as well as documents that prove the relationship between the deceased and the family, such as the birth certificate and marriage certificate.
Attention! Only the family group of BKM assistance, single parents with child support, widowed or widowed persons, and single persons of happy age are eligible for death benefits. The family member receiving the death benefit must be a spouse, mother, father, child, sibling or grandchild.
Applications for BKM benefits will be open from January 1 to January 31, 2022, and people who have already received benefits last year will automatically become recipients. Those who did not receive assistance last year or have not applied for assistance can apply at https://bkm.hasil.gov.my/.
