BKM beneficiaries are advised to get RM75 security coupons before July 15 as it may be charged an RM5 fee after July 15
People who still haven’t collected up their security vouchers should act quickly because starting on July 15 they can be charged RM5!
The Congressional Coordinator for MCA Ipoh West, said that the insurance provider has published a fee notice, and those who apply for the stability guarantee voucher will be required to pay a price of RM5. Beginning on July 15, 2022, this policy will be in place.
A government initiative called Perlindungan Tenang Voucher, or PTV for short, assists low-income groups in purchasing microinsurance. Recipients of BKM will get a Security Voucher worth RM75.
Initially, receiving security coupons was free, but the drew attention to the fact that the insurance provider had sent out a notification of charging, and even the consent to apply for accident insurance contains a column where the beneficiary must agree to pay the price.
There are 8.4 million recipients of BKM, and 3 million people have registered to obtain security coupons since September of last year. This means that almost 60% of the recipients have not yet gotten security coupons.
The security voucher should be picked up by eligible individuals prior to July 15 in order to avoid being charged RM5 on that date.
Here’s how to buy microinsurance and obtain the RM75 security voucher.

Step 2: Verify that I’m not a robot and the Privacy Notice.
Step 3: Choose SEARCH.
Step 4: The system will show if you are qualified if you are. You are qualified to get a Perlindungan Tenang Voucher.
Voucher number: XXXXXXXX.
Step 5: The system will show you if you are not qualified. We regret that you are not qualified to get a Perlindungan Tenang Voucher. Please verify your NRIC number.
Step 6: To choose the micro insurance package you want to buy, visit https://www.mycoverage.my/.
Step 7: At the checkout, enter the Perlindungan Tenang Voucher number.
The RM75 Security Voucher may also be obtained straight through Touch ‘n Go eWallet.
The RM75 Security Voucher can be claimed and redeemed directly at Touch ‘n Go eWallet by users. Users have a choice among three microinsurance options: Allianz Perlindunganku, FWD Kasih, and MSIG Mini PA. These microinsurances offer a 12-month period of accident or illness coverage.
You can open the Touch ‘n Go eWallet APP, look for the Program Baucer RM75 banner, and then click it to redeem the RM75 Security Voucher using Touch ‘n Go eWallet. After carefully reading the terms and circumstances, selecting the microinsurance you want to buy, and submitting your application.
In the event that the RM75 Security Voucher has been successfully claimed and redeemed, the insurance provider will email the user to let them know. Within 7 days, those who successfully claimed and redeemed will receive the microinsurance policy’s contents.
