Bank Rakyat offers higher time deposit rates than other banks!
Bank Rakyat has always offered higher interest rates on time deposits than other banks, and the newly updated Bank Rakyat time deposit rates are also higher than other banks by about 0.25%.
According to Bank Rakyat’s official website, you can enjoy 2.00% p.a. for a 1-month time deposit, compared to 1.75% p.a. for other banks, and 2.05% p.a. for a 2-month time deposit, compared to 1.90% p.a. for other banks.
For 3-month time deposits, Bank Rakyat offers 2.10% p.a., while other banks offer only 1.95% p.a. Bank Rakyat offers 2.25% p.a. for 6-month time deposits, while other banks offer only 2.05% p.a.
The minimum deposit amount is RM5,000 if you choose Bank Rakyat for 1-month time deposit and RM500 for 2 months or more time deposit.
