Almost 1.16M children have been fully vaccinated.

As of yesterday, a total of 1,161,503 children aged five to eleven had finished their vaccinations under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme for Children (PICKids).

According to the CovidNow portal, 1,709,368 children have gotten at least one dosage of the vaccine, accounting for 48.1 percent of the total.

In the case of teens aged 12 to 17, a total of 2,912,648 people, or 93.6 percent, have finished their immunisation, while 3,009,154 people, or 96.7 percent, have gotten at least one dose.

At the same time, 16,093,145 people, or 68.4% of the adult population, have received the booster shot, while 22,974,183 people, or 97.6%, have completed two doses of the Covid-19 vaccination and 23,250,761 people, or 98.8%, have received at least one dose of the vaccine.

In terms of daily doses, 7,554 first doses, 8,829 second doses, and 1,195 booster doses of Covid-19 vaccine were provided yesterday, increasing the total number of vaccine doses administered under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Program (PICK) to 70,896,708.

Meanwhile, the Health Ministry’s GitHub portal revealed yesterday that two Covid-19 deaths were reported, one in Selangor and one in Kedah.
