AEON and AEON BiG will no longer provide plastic bags effective January 1, 2023!
According to AEON, all AEON brands will no longer provide plastic bags to customers from January 1, 2023, and customers are encouraged to bring eco-bags with them when shopping.
If customers do not have an eco-bag, they can also pay 70 cents for a large paper bag or 50 cents for a medium-sized paper bag. Customers can also purchase eco-bags on site.
This initiative will be implemented in all AEON outlets across Malaysia, including AEON, AEON BiG, AEON MaxValu, AEON Wellness and Daiso.
The aim of this initiative is to reduce the waste of plastic bags which are not good for the environment and will pollute the earth.
