ASM 3 will announce the latest dividend payment details at the end of September, and will convert the units into fund units to the subscriber’s account after the dividend payment is announced.
ASM 3, formerly known as Amanah Saham 1 Malaysia (AS1M), was launched by former Prime Minister Najib in 2009 and is a fund of National Investment Bhd (PNB)’s National Trust (ASNB). ASM 3 is open to all Malaysian investors.
ASM 3 is a fixed price fund with a price per unit of RM1.00 and will remain at RM1.00.
ASM 3’s dividend payout has been decreasing year by year in recent years, it used to pay out 6.70 cents per unit in 2013 and only 4 cents per unit in 2020 and 2021. It is expected that only 3.75 cents per unit will be paid out this year.
