22/08/2022

Attention CIMB Clicks users! You need to check your CIMB Clicks account regularly to see if it has been logged in by another unknown mobile phone.

There was a recent case of a CIMB Clicks bank account being accessed by an unfamiliar mobile phone which led to the theft of deposits from a doctor who works as a consultant in the Department of Medicine and Nephrology in Putrajaya. Her account was logged into by an unfamiliar iPhone 6, but she did not receive any TAC verification code.

To check if your CIMB Clicks has been logged in by an unfamiliar phone, you can open the CIMB Clicks APP and then go to the Settings function. You can then check if another phone has logged into your account in the Other Registered Device section.

If you find that an unknown phone is registered to your account, you can swipe left to delete the phone. If your old phone is still logged into your CIMB Clicks account, you can also choose to remove the login for that phone to ensure your account is secure.
