]Are you interested in becoming a teacher? Applications for the Bachelor of Science in Teaching Program (PISMP) under the Ministry of Education will open on March 15!

According to a release from the Ministry of Education Malaysia (KPM), admissions to the Bachelor of Science in Teaching program will be conducted from March 15 to April 14, 2023. Interested parties can apply online.

To be interested in the B.A. in Teaching program, you must be at least 20 years old (born on or after 30 June 2023), physically and mentally fit and active in extra-curricular activities, have 5 Kotex (A-/A/A+) grades in SPM, as well as a minimum of Kepujian grades in Malay, History, and English, and must meet the additional requirements of the program.

SPM candidates in 2020, 2021, and 2022 are eligible to apply. Interested parties can visit https://pismp.moe.gov.my/ and click on the Daftar Permohonan Baru icon in LOG MASUK SISTEM. Then enter your ID number for the initial screening. Then register an account and you are ready to apply.

The Bachelor of Teacher Program (PSIMP) is a teacher training program offered by the Ministry of Education. The program lasts for five years, with the first year being a preparatory program and the second to fifth years being a bachelor-level program. Students do not pay tuition fees and receive a monthly stipend (around RM430). Upon completion of the program, students are required to accept an assignment from the Ministry of Education and are required to pay a specific amount of compensation for non-compliance.

Attention! After completing the online application, eligible applicants will be scheduled to take the online teacher qualification test (e-Ujian Kelayakan Calon Guru, E-UKCG). This is a psychometric test (spirometric test) for the selection of teacher trainees and is designed to test the applicant’s suitability to become a teacher. Only applicants who pass the E-UKCG will proceed to the interview process.

Successful E-UKCG applicants will be scheduled for an interview. Successful applicants will need to report to the Teacher Training College in August.

April 17 – April 20: Take the online teacher qualification test (E-UKCG)

June 1 – June 5: Go online to update materials and course options

June 12: Go online to check teacher qualification test results

June 19 – June 22 / July 3 – July 6: Physical interview and physical assessment test

July 24: Announcement of admissions list

August 7-8: Report to Teachers College
