20/09/2022

Apple Store app prices and in-app purchases will increase from October 5, and users will have to pay more for apps and in-app purchases.

According to a report by 8TV News, Apple will increase the prices of apps and in-app purchases in the Apple Store in several countries in October. The affected countries include Malaysia, Japan, Pakistan, South Korea, Egypt, Sweden and all countries that use the Euro.

Apple also pointed out that the adjustment is also related to the taxation of the relevant countries, for example, Vietnam will impose a 5% value added tax (VAT) and corporate income tax (CIT), and Apple will collect the relevant taxes on behalf of the Vietnamese government.

If you often spend money in the Apple Store or through the app, then you should be prepared to pay more from October.
