According to ambank’s message, 2 branches will be closed on 30 September 2022 and 2 branches will be closed on 2 December 2022. These branches will be merged with other branches after they are closed. The affected branches are AmBank Jasin, AmBank Kuala Kangsar, AmBank Raub and Ambank Tanjung Karang.
AmBank Jasin’s business will be transferred to AmBank Tangkak, while AmBank Kuala Kangsar’s business will be transferred to AmBank Bercham. The last business date of these branches is 30 September 2022, although approval by the National Bank is also required.
AmBank Raub will also close and migrate its operations to AmBank Bentong, and AmBank Tanjung Karang will close and migrate its operations to AmBank Bestari Jaya. The last opening hours of these branches are 2 December 2022, subject to approval by the National Bank.
AmBank users’ bank accounts will not be affected in any way, as the business of the relevant branch will be transferred to the new branch. Users can still use cash transfer machines (CDMs), check processors (CQMs), and automatic teller machines (ATMs) as usual.
Users can also continue to use AmOnline Web Banking to process a variety of transactions. Those who have not yet registered for AmOnline can register now to enjoy the convenience of online banking, and can handle banking matters anytime, anywhere.
