Ambank will close 4 branches in September and December!

Ambank will close 2 branches in September and 2 branches in December and will transfer its business to other branches.

 

According to Ambank, two branches will be closed on September 30, 2022 and two branches will be closed on December 2, 2022. These branches will be merged with other branches after the closure.

 

The affected branches are AmBank Jasin, AmBank Kuala Kangsar, AmBank Raub and Ambank Tanjung Karang.

 

The last date of operation of these branches is September 30, 2022, subject to the approval of the State Bank.

 

AmBank Raub will also be closed and relocated to AmBank Bentong and AmBank Tanjung Karang will be closed and relocated to AmBank Bestari Jaya and the last day of operation of these branches is December 2, 2022, subject to the approval of the State Bank.

 

AmBank customers’ bank accounts will not be affected in any way as the business of the relevant branches will be transferred to the new branches. Users can still use cash transfer machines (CDM), check processors (CQM), and automated teller machines (ATM) as usual.

 

Users can also continue to use AmOnline Internet Banking to process various transactions. Those who have not yet signed up for AmOnline can do so now to enjoy the convenience of Internet banking and be able to handle their banking transactions anytime, anywhere.

 

In recent months, banks in the country have been restructuring their branch operations and reducing the size of their branches. Both Hong Leong Bank and CIMB have announced the reorganization of their branches one after another.
