A woman in New York argued with her boyfriend at a subway station. Unexpectedly, the man got angry and pushed her off the platform as the train entered the station, causing the woman’s legs to be amputated. The man fled the scene but was arrested by the police that night and charged with attempted murder and malicious wounding.
The New York Post reported that at about 10 a.m. on the 9th, the 29-year-old victim argued with her boyfriend Valdez while waiting for the subway to arrive at the Fulton Street Station in Manhattan. As a result, the boyfriend became so angry that he lost his mind. He pushed her off the platform and was run over by a southbound train.
The New York City Police said that the New York State Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA), which manages the New York subway, immediately cut off the power supply to the 3rd track, and the police immediately went to the scene. After rescuing the woman from the track, she was immediately sent to the hospital for emergency treatment. She was still injured in the end. Both legs had to be amputated, and they are still not out of danger.
A 48-year-old witness said that he had received emergency medical training and was trying to help. “When I went down the track, I saw her sandwiched between two carriages.
He kept talking to the woman to calm her down. “She talked a lot and felt that she should not be treated like this. She also raised part of her fallen flesh to show me that she might have lost her legs. I hope She’s okay, she’s strong”.
The police pointed out that the man fled the scene immediately after committing the crime. After the police obtained his identity through surveillance cameras, they arrested him that night.
