RM2,400 Rebate for Electric Motorcycle Purchase, How to Apply and Enjoy the Rebate.
In order to promote the use of electric motorcycles, the government has launched the Electric Motorcycle Rebate Program (Skim Galakan Penggunaan Motosikal Elektrik) in 2024. This program will be open to Malaysian citizens with an annual income of up to RM120,000.
Eligible persons can purchase selected motorized scooters, currently there are 11 types of motorized scooters available in the Malaysian market, with prices starting from as low as RM3,999.
There are 2 ways for those who are eligible to apply. The first method is to apply online and purchase the motorized scooter from the designated store after the application is approved. The second method is to apply directly through the merchant.

If applicants choose to take out a loan or buy out the motorized scooter in one go, they will be entitled to RM2,400 rebate directly. For motorcycle rental, applicants will be entitled to a rebate of RM200 per month for a period of 12 months.
Upon approval of the application, a QR code will be given to the applicant which is valid for 30 days and the applicant has to purchase the motorized scooter from the designated store within 30 days.
Application Requirements:
1. Annual income not exceeding RM120,000.
2. Malaysian citizens who are at least 18 years old.
3. Those who possess a B, B1 or B2 driver’s license.
How to apply:
Step 1: Visit https://insentif.marii.my/ to register your account.
Step 2: Click on Daftar Sekarang.
Step 3: Enter your personal information to register your account.
Step 4: Once you have registered your account, you can log in again.
Step 5: Upload the required additional documents.
Step 6: Pay RM10 service fee.
Step 7: Applicants can log in to check the result of their application within 14 working days.
Additional Documents Required:
1. Copy of Damascus Card.
2. Copy of B, B1 or B2 Driving License.
3. Documentary proof of income
a. Part-time workers: Salary slip, EA Form or STR application approval letter.
b. Self-employed: Income documentation or STR application approval letter.
c. Retirees: Documentation of income or letter of approval for STR application.
d. Students: Student card, student identification document or STR application approval letter.
