According to Hong Kong media reports, an accident occurred at the Hong Kong International Airport in the early morning of the 6th. The police received a report from an airport employee that a man fell to the ground on the west apron of the airport’s south runway. The source pointed out that the man was a 34-year-old non-Chinese man who held a Hong Kong ID card and his job during his tenure was to tow airplanes off the runway.

In the early hours of this year, the man towed the plane to the west apron with a 60-year-old man who was driving a tow truck while he was still sitting in the back seat of the vehicle. However, soon, the tow truck driver discovered that he had disappeared, so he looked back along the original road, only to find that he was lying on the taxiway H near J6.

Upon seeing this, the tow truck driver thought that the deceased might have been run over by a plane, and immediately notified his superiors and called the police. However, the man was obviously dead when the ambulance personnel arrived at the scene.

The police do not rule out that the deceased accidentally fell out of the car and was run over by a plane. They are currently investigating the fatal traffic accident and need to clarify whether he was run over by the plane that was towed off the tarmac at the time or by another plane.
