Allegedly inciting people to boycott takeaway platform Wan Ahmad Fayhsal: Post is fake.
Wan Ahmad Fayhsal has pointed out that social media postings circulating about him allegedly inciting people to boycott an allegedly pro-Israeli food-delivery platform and demanding that the platform’s delivery workers be transferred to other jobs are false postings.
When he revealed the matter through his Facebook page today, he restricted the posters to delete the postings in question within 24 hours and threatened to face legal action if they failed to do so.
“Recently there have been several postings circulating on social media in relation to me and I hereby sternly deny the content of the postings, which are defamatory postings meant only to cover up the government’s efforts to address the problems faced by taxi drivers and food delivery workers.”
Wan Ahmad Fayhsal also reiterated his call to Prime Minister and Finance Minister Datuk Seri Anwar to fulfill his promise to help solve the problems faced by the delivery workers.
“The Minister of Finance, through his department, is a powerful financial handler and, as with any other company, please use the powers of the Prime Minister and the Minister of Finance to address subjects of public interest.”
Wan Ahmad Fayhsal gave the posters 24 hours to remove the postings or legal action would be taken.
