According to news from Shopee, Shopee’s commission ratio to merchants will remain at 2.12%, but the commission model will be changed. Shopee will charge a 2.12% transaction fee on the amount before deducting Shopee Sponsored Discounts.
Currently, Shopee charges a 2.12% transaction fee on the amount after deducting Shopee Sponsored Discounts. However, starting from January 1, 2024, a 2.12% transaction fee will be levied on the amount before Shopee Sponsored Discounts are deducted.
The so-called Shopee Sponsord Discounts include discount coupons provided by Shopee, Coins provided by Shopee and rebates provided by Shopee.
Shopee also gave an example to make it easier for merchants to understand.
