There is a constant rain warning for Terengganu, Kelantan, and Sabah.
MetMalaysia (Malaysia Meteorology Malaysia) issued an alert warning of continuous rain in several areas of Terengganu and Kelantan today.
Tumpat, Pasir Mas, Kota Baru, Jeli, Tanah Merah, Bachok, Machang, Pasir Puteh, and Kuala Krai are among the areas expected to be affected in Kelantan.
Besut, Setiu, Kuala Nerus, and Kuala Terengganu are the areas in Terengganu.
MetMalaysia also issued an alert warning of continuous rain for the West Coast (Ranau and Kota Belud), Sandakan (Telupid, Kinabatangan, Beluran, and Sandakan), and Kudat from January 9 to 11.
The state and district disaster management committees should be activated, and the level of preparedness for potential disasters should be increased, particularly in high-risk areas.
