The Election Commission will convene on October 20, 2022 (Thursday), at 10am to discuss the pertinent specifics of the 10th General Election, which will take place following the meeting, according to a statement released by the Malaysian Election Commission (SPR). The nomination day and election day for the general election will be announced at the press conference.
The 15th General Election’s nomination deadline, election day, and electoral roll will all be announced at a meeting called by the Election Committee. The Election Commission stated in a statement that it will also talk about the by-election date for the Sabah N66 Bugaya state seat when it met.
On October 10 at 3 p.m., caretaker prime minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri will make the announcement on live television. Our nation is required to hold a national election by the Federal Constitution within 60 days.
