10 most valuable brands in Malaysia in 2022!

Petronas continues to be on top of the list of the 10 most valuable brands in Malaysia in 2022, according to Brance Finance brand valuation consultants.

Petronas’ brand value grew by 13% to US$13.6 billion (RM60.6 billion), according to Brand Finance, which has ranked Petronas as the most valuable brand in Malaysia for 12 consecutive years.

The second most valuable brand was Genting, with a brand value of US$4.5 billion (RM20 billion). Maybank was third, with a brand value of US$3.9 billion. CIMB ranked fourth with US$2.3 billion.

Tenaga Nasional’s brand value is US$2.2 billion in this ranking. Sime Darby is sixth with US$2.2 billion.

In seventh to tenth place are Public Bank, Maxis, AirAsia and MaTelecom (TM).

Brand Finance has also compiled a list of the 10 strongest brands in Malaysia, with the top 10 being Maybank, Petronas, Public Bank, Genting, Top Glove, CIMB, Tenaga Nasional, Etiqa, Bank Islam and Takaful.

Affin Bank topped the list of the 10 fastest growing brands as compiled by Brance Finance, followed by Top Glove, Genting, Time, unifi, Bumiarmada, IHH, Takaful, Malaysia Reinsurance Berhad and MahSing.
