Nowadays, the internet data plans offered by telecommunication companies are getting cheaper and cheaper, and you can enjoy Unlimited Data for RM35 per month.
All the telecommunication companies in China have launched Unlimited Plans, which claim to have unlimited internet access, meaning that there is no traffic limit and users can surf and download as much as they want. However, it is understood that these plans are not really Unlimited, but have traffic limits.
Take Celcom Unlimited RM35 as an example, this package provides 3Mbps internet speed and unlimited dial-up to all networks. However, when the user uses 60GB of data, the speed will be reduced to 512kbps, and the speed will be restored only after the next month’s update.
Hotlink’s Unlimited package also restricts users to 50GB per month, once you exceed 50GB, you may be limited to 512kbps, which will be restored after the next month’s update.
TuneTalk monthly RM48 can enjoy 6Mbps unlimited data Tune Unlimited package is also limited in traffic, only up to 100GB of data per month.
Digi has also launched Unlimited Data Plans, but not all users can sign up for the Unlimited Plans, which are only available to certain users for a monthly fee of RM35 for 3Mbps.
Here’s a look at the Unlimited Plans and the Fair User Policy (FUP) of each telecom company.
