McDonald’s will implement a measure to use the same login for both McD APP and McDelivery accounts from May 18.
According to the announcement from McDonald’s, McD APP and McDelivery login will be merged, allowing users to use both McD APP and McDelivery services with a single login.
Currently, users are required to sign in when using McD APP and again when using McDelivery delivery service, which many users have complained is inconvenient and unfriendly. McDonald’s has heard the complaints from users and decided to use one login for both McD APP and McDelivery accounts.
If you have both McD APP and McDelivery accounts and use the same email to login, then McD APP login will be the preferred one. If you use different emails to sign up for McD APP and McDelivery, you will need to go to McD APP to change to the email used by McDelivery in order to retain your previously-stored delivery address and order history. You can also choose to register a new McD APP account using McDelivery’s email address.
If you only have a McDelivery account but not a McD APP account, then you will need to use McDelivery’s email to register for a McD APP account.
The new measure will be effective from May 18, 2022. This means that after May 18, users will only need to log in to one account to use both McD APP and McDelivery services.
