Good news! myPTPTN APP is now available for users to view their PTPTN arrears and SSPN deposit details directly.

The Malaysian Tertiary Education Institution (PTPTN) has officially launched myPTPTN APP. myPTPTN APP is a one-stop mobile application that allows users to perform various transactions of PTPTN and SSPN through myPTPTN APP.

As long as you are a Malaysian citizen aged 18 years or above and have a Malaysia Card, cell phone number and email, you can use myPTPTN APP. myPTPTN APP provides 4 main functions, namely, opening an SSPN account and making deposits, repaying PTPTN student loan arrears, applying for payroll deduction to pay PTPTN student loan arrears, and applying for direct debit from the bank to pay loan arrears.

To register for a myPTPTN account, you will need to verify your identity, which means you will need to take a picture of your damaca and a selfie. After completing the eKYC identity verification, the user will be able to register for a myPTPTN account. Attention! Each user can only perform the eKYC process up to 5 times. If the eKYC process fails continuously, the user will need to visit the nearest PTPTN counter to process.

The myPTPTN APP is available on the Google Play Store, Apple Store and Huawei AppGallery, and you can download it for free from these app stores.

If this is your first time hearing about SSPN, here’s an introduction to SSPN, a government-run savings plan designed to encourage people to save, and SSPN depositors will enjoy many benefits such as interest on deposits, insurance coverage, personal income tax rebates, death benefits, medical coverage, and more.

SSPN is divided into two plans, namely Simpan SSPN Prime and Simpan SSPN Plus.

Simpan SSPN Prime is a savings plan where depositors are free to make deposits and withdrawals, and one of the benefits of Simpan SSPN Prime is that you can make deposits according to your financial ability. If you are tight this month, you can choose not to make a deposit for now. Next month, you can choose to make a deposit when you are in a tighter position.

As for Simpan SSPN Plus, it is a plan that includes insurance and requires regular monthly deposits, a portion of which will be used as insurance premium.
