Water supply disruptions will occur in 142 areas in Petaling and Klang districts after water pipes were damaged by a third party contractor.
According to Air Selangor, a water main rupture in Shah Alam District 15 has led to water supply disruptions in 142 areas in Petaling and Klang districts.
Air Selangor started repairing the broken pipe at 3pm on January 26, 2022 and will complete the repair work at 3am on January 27. The water supply will be restored in phases at that time.
Selangor Water Supply Management Corporation will send water tankers to the affected areas to provide daily water supply. Public is urged to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for water collection, such as keeping distance and wearing masks.
