17/01/2022

Klang Valley’s senior citizens over 60 years old can walk in for vaccination!

According to a press release from the Ministry of Health, four large vaccination centers in the Klang Valley have been opened since January 15, allowing the elderly to walk in for their vaccinations without an appointment.

The four large vaccination centers are World Trade Centre KL, Axiata Arena Bukit Jalil, Ideal Convention Centre Shah Alam and Soka Gakkai Klang.

However, it is important to note that these 4 vaccination centers are currently offering only the AstraZeneca (AZ) booster vaccine for those who have previously received the AstraZeneca and Coxin vaccines. These vaccination centers will offer the Pfizer booster vaccine from January 19.

The four vaccination centers will be open for walk-in booster vaccinations for people aged 60 years and above from 2pm to 8pm daily, while the Soka Gakkai Klang vaccination center will be open for walk-in from 12pm to 4pm daily and will be closed on public holidays.

The PPV Offsite in Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya, Negeri Sembilan, Melaka, Penang and Sarawak will be open for walk-in vaccinations from January 24. A detailed list of vaccination centers will be announced soon.

Walk-in vaccinators are urged to bring along their complete electronic vaccination certificates from MySejahtera to make the vaccination process smoother.
