More than 4.72 million users enabled MySJ Trace, people urged to enable MySJ Trace!

17/01/2022

Have you activated MySJ Trace yet? More than 4.72 million users have already activated MySJ Trace.

According to Health Minister Kerry, 2,179 confirmed patients have so far uploaded their interactive information through MySJ Trace to help monitor the presence of symptoms or the need for coronary disease testing through nearby people.

The Ministry of Health added MySJ Trace to MySejahtera in December. MySJ Trace will collect information on whether a user has had close contact with a diagnosed person through Bluetooth functionality. Many people choose not to turn on the Bluetooth feature for fear of exposing their privacy and affecting the battery life of their phones.

Health Minister Kerry recently called on the public to voluntarily and voluntarily turn on the Bluetooth function on their cell phones to make it easier for the Ministry of Health to keep track of the close contacts of those who have been diagnosed, and to protect the public themselves. For now, the government can only encourage people to actively turn on and use MySJ Trace.

If the use of MySJ Trace is still very low, the government will not rule out the possibility of making it mandatory for people to turn on their Bluetooth phones when they enter a store to activate MySJ Trace. If people do not actively cooperate, MySJ Trace will be useless and will not be able to serve its purpose of collecting data from close contacts.

So far, 4.72 million users have enabled MySJ Trace, have you enabled MySJ Trace?
