Maybank APP and MAE APP are malfunctioning and users are unable to open and use them!
Maybank APP and MAE APP are down from around 4pm on December 21, users will get a pop-up notification of system failure when opening Maybank APP and MAE APP. Users are unable to check their account balance, verify transactions and complete transfers without any problems.
According to the announcement released by Maybank, the web version of Maybank2u is back to normal and users can temporarily use the web version of Maybank2u to make transactions and view account information. However, Maybank APP and MAE APP are still facing system failure, Maybank hopes that users can be patient and understand.
Many users complained on the Maybank Facebook page that when they use the web version of Maybank2u to transfer funds, they still need to open the Maybank APP or MAE APP to verify the transaction with Secure2u, so they still cannot complete the transfer smoothly.
In fact, Maybank APP and MAE APP have been down since December 19, but the fix was completed shortly after the failure, and now they are down again.
The malfunction of Maybank APP and MAE APP may be related to the fact that Maybank will close the classic version of Maybank2u webpage.
