A 64-year-old Chinese man got lost while hiking yesterday morning and was found dead tonight. The police classified him as a sudden death case.
The above-mentioned case occurred in Bukit Sherea, U16, Shah Alam District.
Shah Alam District Police Chief Assistant Commissioner Mohd Iba issued a statement tonight, saying that the deceased went hiking at the above-mentioned location at 9:30 am yesterday, and later contacted his son at 3:43 pm claiming to be lost. His son later reported to the police for help.
He said that the fire and rescue team from Bukit Jelutong was called to conduct a search and rescue operation, but could not find it. It was postponed to 7:50 tonight. The deceased was found dead by the public in the local area. The body was later sent to Shah Alam Hospital by the police. Perform an autopsy.
