According to the news issued by Hong Leong Bank, 4 branches will be closed in the coming June and July and the business under the branches will be transferred to other branches. The closure of these branches is subject to the approval of the National Bank.
Bank Hong Leong in Ukay Perdana, Ampang, Selangor and Kapar, Klang is expected to close on June 24, 2022 and will transfer its operations to branches in Taman Sri Rampai, Kuala Lumpur and Setia Alam, Selangor.
Bank SinoPac in Sungai Dua, Penang is also expected to close on July 22, 2022 and transfer its operations to its branch in Jalan Ong Yi How, North Sea. The Bank of Hong Leong in Balik Pulau, Penang is also expected to close on July 22nd and transfer its operations to its branch in Bayan Lepas Sungai Ara.
Currently, there are still 235 branches and 1,015 self-service terminals available. Users are also encouraged to use HLB Connect APP, an online banking service, to conduct banking transactions.
