According to the “Sin Chew” report, a netizen on the Facebook page “Warga Ampang” posted a posting, table they recently went to Kuala Lumpur in the Desa Pandan dining, eating two plates of rice prices, respectively RM28 and RM37, and this price not including the drinks.
According to the exposed photos, the netizen and his friend ate mixed rice, 2 plates of rice visible with fish, vegetables, and a small Sotong. On closer inspection, there were 8 to 10 small Sotong on each of the 2 plates of rice. The netizen said that according to the hawker’s explanation, it is because each Sotong charges RM2, but in fact, Sotong is very small.
This posting has attracted many netizens to send and discuss, lamenting the high prices of goods now, it is best to ask the price before ordering. One of the netizens even quipped, “Is this a meal at Gordon Ramsay’s (a famous British chef) restaurant?”
