10 days after its launch in Malaysia, BYD Atto 3 has already received 1,000 orders!
According to BYD Malaysia, the BYD Atto 3 has received its 1,000th order in Malaysia and will be delivered to its owners in March 2023 at the earliest. 1,000 orders for the BYD Atto 3 in 10 days shows that the people of Malaysia are starting to accept electric cars.
The BYD Atto 3 was launched in Malaysia in 2 versions, the Standard Range Version (SR) and the Extended Range Version (ER), with the standard version having a battery capacity of 49.92kWh and a range of 410km at RM149,800, while the extended range version has 60.48kWh and a range of 480km at RM167,800.
The BYD Atto 3 is powered by a front-mounted electric motor that delivers 203hp and 310Nm of torque, with a 0-100km/h acceleration time of 7.3 seconds. It can be fully charged in 9.5 hours with AC charging and from 0 to 80% in 45 minutes with DC charging.
The BYD Atto 3 has 17-inch wheels in the standard version and 18-inch wheels in the extended-range version. 4,455mm in length, 1,875mm in width, 1,615mm in height and 2,720mm in wheelbase.
The BYD Atto 3 features a panoramic glass sunroof and luggage rack, a 5-inch electronic instrument panel, and a 12.8-inch console with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support. BYD Atto also features seven airbags, automatic brake assist, automatic cruise control, blind spot detection system, and rear traffic alert system.
Owners will be covered by the original 6-year/150,000km EV warranty, 8-year/160,000km battery warranty, and 8-year/150,000km warranty on the electric motor, transformer and electronic wiring harness parts. The original manufacturer also provides owners with 1,000 free credits for public charging stations.
