Zendaya admits to finding Tom Holland elusive: “Despite being cute, I truly don’t understand this one thing!”

Since Tom Holland and Zendaya’s on-screen romance became a real-world partnership, their love life has been intensely scrutinized.

Zendaya recently admitted in an interview that she struggles with accepting one aspect of her lover, sparking passionate debate among netizens more than two years after they publicly confirmed their relationship.

Zendaya told The Sun in an exclusive interview,

“I love the British accent, but even though Tom tries to explain it to me, I still don’t understand Cockney Rhyming Slang!” Said,

“Cockney Rhyming Slang” refers to a fascinating British culture in which slang is utilized. Still, not everyone understands it since they replace two or more syllables with a common term and rhyme the final phrase with the original word, making it sound sophisticated. 

In the interview, Zendaya also used Cockney Rhyming Slang, saying, “Apples and Pears” – she still doesn’t understand how apples and pears are related to stairs. “Apples and Pears” denotes “stairs” in the United Kingdom. Furthermore, Zendaya told the interviewer that Tom Holland had explained all of the “Cockney Rhyming Slang” to her, and while it sounded adorable, she couldn’t grasp it!

Not only that, but there is a plethora of other regularly used slang in the UK, such as “Dog and bone” for “phone”, “Tit for Tat” for “hat”, “Rosy Lee” for “tea”, “Adam and Eve” for “believe”, and so on. Despite their distinct countries and origins, they may both learn new things from each other, such as the “Cockney Rhyming Slang” that nearly drove Zendaya insane. It’s worth noting that recent romantic photographs of the two on a street date have also gone viral on Twitter, with followers uploading photos of them together.

According to sources, Zendaya told the media that she and Tom had settled in London, and she also revealed a tiny secret about their relationship:

“Tom is really good in the kitchen, which makes me feel lucky because I’m really accident-prone in that area!”

Furthermore, Zendaya added that because they are both control freaks, only one person can be in the kitchen at the same time when cooking.
