Withdrawals and transfers will be restricted by Touch ‘n Go eWallet!

Keep an eye out! Withdrawals and transfers will be restricted by Touch ‘n Go eWallet!

I assume everyone has recently received messages from Touch ‘n Go eWallet recommending that they update to the most recent version. This is because Touch ‘n Go eWallet is beginning to divide customers’ funds into transferable and non-transferable categories.

When a user tops up their Touch ‘n Go eWallet with money from their bank account or a debit card, the money is considered transferrable. Non-transferable (Non-Transferable) monies shall be considered for the use of credit card recharges or government incentives.

To put it another way, money topped up from credit cards and money donated by the government will be regarded non-transferable, although money obtained from other sources will be.

Transferable funds can be used for transfers to other users’ GO+ accounts, withdrawals to bank accounts, transfers to other e-wallets, offline store purchases, parking fees, online payments, mobile phone prepaid top-ups, movie tickets, transportation fees, and so on.

Non-transferable cards can be used for physical store purchases, parking fees, online payments, mobile phone prepaid top-ups, cinema tickets, and transit fees, among other things. This amount is mostly inaccessible for transfers to GO+ accounts, other users, bank account withdrawals, and e-wallet transfers.

Touch ‘n Go eWallet Pro users can also enjoy a monthly transferrable limit of RM2,000 when topping up with a credit card, according to the company’s official website. When topping up with a credit card, Premium tier users with a wallet capacity of RM5,000 can also enjoy a transferrable limit of RM2,000.

When topping up with a credit card, Premium tier users with a wallet limit of RM20,000 can enjoy a monthly transferrable limit of up to RM5,000. This means that if a user tops up RM8,000 with a credit card, RM5,000 will be transferable and the remaining RM3,000 will be non-transferable.

The Touch ‘n Go eWallet will plainly display how much of your money is transferrable and how much is not. You can access the Touch ‘n Go eWallet and then click on your balance to see how much money is transferable and non-transferable.

This new Touch ‘n Go eWallet action is geared primarily at users who frequently use credit cards (Credit Cards) to top up Touch ‘n Go eWallet in order to swipe credit card points.
