With 27,179 infections, Malaysia has seen a small increase in new Covid-19 cases.
In the last 24 hours, the Health Ministry reported 27,179 new Covid-19 infections, up from 25,099 the day before.
According to Health Director-General Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah, the total number of infections has risen to 3,273,958 since Covid-19 came in the country in 2020.
The total number of persons who have recovered is now 19,037, bringing the total number of cases recovered to 2,974,441.
The same rate of 43 deaths was reported yesterday, with 13 brought-in-dead.
Since the commencement of the epidemic, a total of 32,433 persons have died from the coronavirus.
