With 20,923 cases reported, the sharp decrease trend continues.

The number of Covid-19 cases in the country continues to decline, with the Ministry of Health reporting 20,923 new infections in the last 24 hours, resulting in lower critical and normal bed use in most hospitals across the country.

Only five states have a critical bed utilisation rate of more above 50%, which is still much lower than the figure two weeks earlier. The use of Intensive Care Unit beds in Kuala Lumpur is now at 70%, followed by Putrajaya at 67%.

ICU bed utilisation was 59, 57, and 53 percent in Johor, Penang, and Selangor, respectively.

As of March 26, regular bed utilisation in Putrajaya and Selangor was 76 percent and 70 percent, respectively. Kuala Lumpur (59 percent), Melaka (57 percent), Terengganu (56 percent), Sarawak (51 percent), and Perak (51 percent) were the other five states with a bed utilisation rate of more than 50%. (50 percent ).

Over 99 percent of daily instances were patients in categories one and two.

Patients in categories 3, 4, and 5 (moderate to severe symptoms) numbered 44, 26, and 45, respectively. Those who had had two doses accounted for 41% of the total, whereas patients who had received their booster injections accounted for nearly 30%.
