The Windows 11 update includes a new feature called Smart App Control (SAC), but this feature can only be used with a fresh install!
According to Microsoft, this new security tool can only be used in the case of a “clean install” with Build 22567 or higher, which means that the original Windows users can only look at it.
Has been released to insider testers.
It is reported that the Windows 11 cumulative update Build 22567.200 (KB5012432), released in March, includes this new feature. Although Microsoft does not have much description of this feature, we learned that it can prevent untrusted or risky applications from being executed.
But this feature can only be implemented with a fresh installation.
This security tool is currently in “evaluation mode.” That is, it will begin to learn whether to provide protection without disturbing the user. If so, the SAC feature will be automatically turned on, otherwise it will be turned off. Users can also be in the “Application and browser control”mode. Users can also start SAC manually in the “Windows Security” app under “Application and Browser Control.”
Push for ISO installation gear in a few weeks
Microsoft also said that it will release a new ISO file in a few weeks, allowing Insiders users to install it fresh or test it on a virtual machine.
In addition, the main new features of Build 22567 include the ability to connect to Android phones during device setup (after completing setup, users can access all activities on their phones from Windows 11, including mobile apps, SMS, phone calls, etc.), pushing Windows Update using renewable energy, improving Microsoft 365 subscription management features, and more.
Windows Update will also try to update at specific times and will also prioritize the use of renewable energy background execution to install.
365 subscription management has added payment details to let users know if they should renew their subscriptions.
There are also new features such as adding dialogue box background color, one-click preset app, and a start menu to make it easier to create folders.
