Which recovery stage does each state belong to?

26/09/2021

The government has divided the national recovery plan into four stages, namely the first stage to the fourth stage, and each stage has its own standard operating procedures.

In order to move from one recovery stage to another, the vaccination rate, the utilization rate of intensive care beds and the cases that need to be hospitalized need to be qualified. The government is gradually opening up its economic activities and social activities, so the differences between various recovery stages are no longer obvious.

The biggest difference in each stage of recovery lies in the resumption of classes in schools, that is, the students in the first stage of recovery can only attend classes at home, the students in the examination classes in the second and third stages of recovery are allowed to return to school in a shift system, and other students still attend classes at home. Students from the state in the fourth stage of recovery can gradually return to school in a shift system from October 18th.

At present, only Kedah is in the first stage of recovery, while Malacca, Perak, Penang, Johor, Kelantan, Selangor, Sabah, Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya are in the second stage of recovery. There are four States in the third stage of recovery, namely, Terengganu, Pahang, Perlis and Sarawak. The fourth stage of recovery includes Labuan and Negeri Sembilan.
