According to the news from the Minister of State of Johor Dato’ Haji Hasni bin Mohammad, if the Johor JDT football team successfully wins the Malaysia Cup, the Johor state government will list December 1 as a special holiday.
The Johor JDT football team will versus KL City FC at 9pm on November 30 (Tuesday). The results of the match are expected to be released between 10:50 and 11:15 in the evening.
This is not the first time that the Johor state government has made a similar announcement. In 2019, the Johor JDT football team defeated the Kedah team and the next day was also listed as a special holiday. In 2017, the Johor JDT football team also defeated the Kedah team to win the championship, and the next day was also listed as a special holiday.
In 2020, due to the epidemic, it will be suspended for one year. The champions in 2019 and 2017 are Johor, Perak in 2018, Kedah in 2016, Selangor in 2015, and Pahang in 2013 and 2014.
